FOR THE SCHOOL
Banchory Academy PTA is a registered charity working very closely with Banchory Academy to raise much needed funds for all types of school equipment, outings & enable all pupils to participate in events.
As a Banchory Academy teacher or parent/carer you are automatically a member of BAPTA which aims to forge links between home and school by organising social fund-raising events, with all proceeds going to Banchory Academy.   
These extra funds are spent on providing additional resources for the school and its pupils.
In 2007 we launched a special projects fund to purchase 13 Interactive Whiteboards and overhead projectors, valuable assets in the classrooms.
In the past monies raised have provided seating in the main hallway, the Millenium Garden, PA system, lighting for the drama department, football strips, goal posts, table tennis tables,various other sports equipment and various CD roms, books etc.
The committe would welcome any suggestions for future functions and fund raising events and you are welcome to   attend any commitee meeting.
